Casa Girelli History:

It all started when Giovanni Girelli purchased a small vineyard in the village of Borghetto, in Southern Trentino. The winery became successful but during the Second World War, the wine cellar was completely destroyed.

At the end of the war Giovanni and his son Renato, again built a large and a modern winery in Trento which become the first Casa Girelli headquarters.

In 1959, Renato took over his father’s business and created one of the first subsidiary companies in Berlin as Casa Girelli was already focusing on exporting to other countries like Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Holland and the U.K.

In 1960, The Company became responsible for 35% of all the wine export to Germany. Resulting to the continuous growth 98% of production goes to exporting.

Casa Girelli Vineyard:

Casa Girelli's Vineyard enhances the quality of the most important wine-growing regions by selecting the best vines of each area. Vines are often very old, expressing the typical characteristics of the grape variety and giving excellent quality wines.

The harvesting, winemaking and bottling of their products are carried out by qualified experts and each stage is meticulously observed, beginning in the vineyard with the grape selection so that each bottle represents its origin.
