I am the co-founder and director of the 44 Group, with brother Tom and sister Natalie in 2002. I oversee all the food and beverage side of the operation.
We are regarded as one of the leading and longest standing Spanish restaurant groups in the UK, known for our quality, consistency, and creative take on Spanish food and drink. Over the last 16 years everything has gone in to making the company and the restaurants into the best they can be, gaining much acclaim over time proving (touch wood) the harder you work the luckier you get.
I am currently The Imbibe UK restaurant personality of the Year for 2018, something i'm very proud about. I'm one of only a few hundred International Sherry Educators globally. It's a passion and an obsession for me. I work as brand ambassador for Bodegas Baron, a wonderful producer.
I have been recognised by Harpers (2018) as one of the top 50 people influencing and shaping the UK hospitality industry. The restaurants have won things such as Good food guide restaurant of the year for Wales, The Sunday Times best 25 UK openings of the year, Olive magazines top 5 places in the UK to eat tapas. I create all food and drinks menus throughout the company, and am a self taught chef, heading up the kitchen full time for the first 10 years of the company.
